Music!!!!

After our weekly meditation session two Fridays ago, Jeanine, Alaka, Eric, and I went to Eric’s house for a jam. Eric’s friend Brett joined us and provided a great rhythmic foundation. We made this recording. I don’t know if I’ve ever been as proud of anything as I am of this recording. Especially the second half. The musicians are:
Alaka Ray on vocals
Eric Rosenbaum on keys
Jason Jay on cajon (first half) and flute (second half)
Jeanine Tiemeyer on violin
Brett the Magnificent (I don’t know his last name yet) on percussion

    Interesting coincidence. I finished listening to the jam ten minutes before I read this entry. I loved the second half. My feeling was that it was Jeanine’s magnificent violin work that created the transformation. The flute and the vocals and everything else that followed were just amazing. I listened to it three times before switching to Dido. :-)
    Now how come there’s no field here for personal info??

    J~thankyou for so bravely putting this out there.
    I haven’t heard creative inspiration for a while.
    here follows my honest opinions (!)

    Well, being a flute player for almost 20 years of my life…it’s high time we get together and jam…. it’s been years since I really let the music out flow freely
